Tap at the tasting room. Pours dark, translucent, orange gold with a beige head. Hoppy aroma - can’t pin it down. Med body. Flavor is slightly roasty malt with what seems to be fruity hop. Honey is clearly in the flavor. Though it usually is not something I enjoy, it’s working pretty well in this ale. And there’s lots of honey coating my lips. It seems to be getting rather malty, but for some reason that’s working too. Maybe this is the blonde ale version of breakfast. Malt and honey. Quit drinkable. Flavor is bready, but darker than a pale lager breadiness, there's a slight touch of spicy bitter, and honey is definitely detectable. Somehow the flavors raise this beyond the typical blonde!

Draft. Hazy amber beer with a cream head. Grapefruit and pine aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Grapefruit and tropical fruit linger with light pine.

Crowler from the tap room. Pours very dark copper with a tan had. Aroma of slightly roasty caramel/treacle with some mild herbaceous/grassy hop. Med body or so. Flavor is roasty caramel with some spicy/herbaceous/grassy hop. It’s not all that sweet, but sweet, and the hop is arguably strong enough to get this towards balance. With each sip/quaff the spice seems to get stronger, and the caramel seems to get maltier. Working for me.

Tap at the brewpub. Pours orange gold with a transient white head. Aroma is stone fruit funky. Med body; flavor is apricot / tart / funky. A touch sour. Finishes very apricot. Actually fairly sour, but not devastating.

Tap at the tasting room. Pours hazy/opaque almost muddy dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of brown sugar and uncertain hop. Full bodied. Lots of flavor. surprisingly dry. Brown sugar flavor, but lots and lots of hop bitterness. but not like NW bitter; maybe like E Coast bitter. Gets earthy with time. Maybe I’d have thought it was an American Strong Ale. A pleasant surprise. Still thinking it’s pretty dry. Nice drink. But not exactly a sipper!

Tap at the tasting room. Pours very hazy darkish amber - near beige head. Aroma seems pine/citrus. Med body or so. Flavor is citrus/pine/fruit with a definite earthiness. Lots of flavor. I’d never have guessed the low ABV. One of the better session IPAs I can recall.

Tap at Blue Note. Pours very hazy darkish raspberry color - sort of a purplish cast. Aroma is simply raspberry. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly tart; dryish; lightly funky; raspberry. Could be a touch of pedio. Slight touch of seed bitter. Kind of like a non-Lindemans fruit lambic. Nice, but not all that close to the better Belgian products. Absolutely amazing for this geographic location.
