330ml bottle picked up at Drygate. It pours darkest brown with a deep tan head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, charred vibes, bitter - sweet character, big hit of espresso, dark roasted malt, cacao nibs, dark chocolate, chocolate covered coffee bean and toast. The taste is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, charred, toasty, dark chocolate, cacao nibs, touch of umami, liquorice, loads of lovely coffee, dark roast, espresso cake and a touch of alcohol with a roasty coffee finish. Fulsome body and moderate foamy carbonation. Good depth of flavour and robust. Very nice stuff.

330ml can - Pours a hazy golden colour with an average sized mostly lasting foamy white head. The aroma is peachy. A moderately sweet taste, peach extract is the a dominant flavour but there is a hoppy bitterness to moderate the sweetness. Okay.

Keg at The Pot Still Glasgow. It pours crystal clear yellow with a sturdy white head. The aroma is fresh, clean, pale grain, doughy white bread and some biscuit. The taste is crisp and dry, subdued grassy bitterness, clean airy malt, white bread and biscuit with a dry finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Rounded, clean and quenching. Nice wee lagerbier.

Keg at Drygate. It pours opaque, jet black with a dark tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, spicy, intoxicating, dark chocolate, warming chilli spice, vanilla, toasted marshmallow, neopolitan ice cream, churros dipped in chocolate, nutty, pecan pie and booze soaked oak. The taste is slick and thick, chewy, toothy, bitter - sweet, cakey, chocolate gateaux, cacao nibs, warming chilli spice creeps in, vanilla sugar, boozey slap, oaky tannin, nutty, pecan pie, leather, burnt wood and a touch of espresso. Fulsome body, moderate carbonation and slick mouth feel. Lots to like about it. Chilli stops it from being too sweet. Well concocted.

Keg at Drygate. It pours cloudy bright pink - red with a small, fluffy pinkish - white head. The aroma is bready, grain, cereal, oatcakes (should note that they are brewing right next to me), fresh, zingy, tart rapsberry, cranberry and some refreshers. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, nip of acidity, minerality, sherbet, chock full of raspberry, tart and fresh, spritzy, refreshers, cranberry and a touch of strawberry with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Lovely and quenching. Another winne.r
