Somehow found this in Puerto Rico in a can: pours weirdly orangish for the style. Corn and cheap grain nose. Slight hoppiness. Little sweet. Meh.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear, red color, with a small, tan head. The aroma is caramel, band-aid, cardamom, light cola, and earth. Sweet and malty, with a weak, acrid bitterness. Very light and fizzy. Weak and unfortunate.

Can at the latest DC Ratebeer tasting. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a medium sized, foamy tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, big chocolate malt, big coffee with some light barrel character to it. Pleasant stuff.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours clear amber/copper with a decent creamy white head. Aroma of tequila and perhaps lime. Med body or so. Flavor is lightly spicy/chili with tequila and rather aged wood notes. Lots of flavor. Not getting much, if any chocolate. It's less than dry, and both bitter and spicy. A strong, tasty combination of flavors which is quite different. Vive la differance!
