More beer at the source with the wife.
Light protein but mostly translucent honey brew.
Dry pasta nose with a little floral.
Saltines, white grape, very subtle. Did get the cliche orange.
On the thinner, coarsely filtered side. Fell flat fast..
Just meh.

At the source with my wife, enjoying a chill day before heading back home. Lots of plants in this place. Super slow though.
Golden white tea pour.
Dry pineapple & sharp herbal nose.
Herbal sweet, lemon, lingering rind, aperitif, sweet pine, nicely thin. I would've thought this was an OG West coast.
Well done cold IPA. -1 score for this gimped style.

Cucumber hazy at the source on a quiet afternoon in Chula.
Bright, pale gold, still pour to the top.
Nachos & green herbal veggie nose.
Nice herbal cucumber over a dry saltine, very minor menthol, prickly pear bittersweet, black pepper, some astringency on the finish. Fresh acidity. Kinda like a pepper beer in a lot of ways.

Can at Sally’s at SeaPort San Diego. Pours translucent gold with a huge white head. Melon, citrus and light caramel for aroma. Medium body. Flavor matches aroma with a touch of mango. Dry. Bitter. Tasty.
