Enjoyed from an AirBNB house in Ottowa with family. Solid IPA, light bite, moderate carbonation, lightly bready.

Taster at Downers Grove Rotary Fest. I still prefer to kick off summer with a German style hefeweizen wheat beer, rather than chase after the latest cream pie IPA. This one was bright, clove-y, and cloudy of course. Forgoes the banana esters sometimes found in this style, but ends with a note of lemon.

Sample at Binny's Bolingbrook. Nice hoppy smell with malt in the back. Slightly sudsy head. Taste has just a note of fruit and more pine needles than resin. Almost a honey note to the malts. Compares favorably to a Siera Nevada Pale Ale.

Bottle from Binny’s. I let this sit in my cellar for a year, so I will be forgiving a lot. It does pour a deep amber color, under a rich head. Smell allows for a little bitterness. The taste has held up rather nicely. A toasty, almost caramel malt profile, with a matching kind of noble hop bitterness. I’m detecting a tinge of oxidation, but that doesn’t detract from this being a tasty, malty, almost rich beer.

Taster at Rotary Grove Fest, Downers Grove.Server wasn't sure what style this was. First sniff suggested to me an APA, and I was right (that's not that hard of a guess). Color is just a shade toward amber. There are light malts in the nose, then an impression of maybe Amarillo and Citra. Taste is nicely hoppy, mainly with some resin and pine.

tap at the brewpub in Oct 2017 - Amber-orange pour. It has a pleasant citrus hop aroma. The big hop forward flavor is loaded with citrus and tropical fruit. There's a solid malt backbone with a medium to full body. The high abv is buried and the intense flavors come together really well. Excellent.

tap at the brewpub in Oct 2017 - Copper pour with a small, lingering head. The mild aroma is of citrus hops and some underlying malt. The flavor is moderately bitter with some caramel malt. Pretty good.
