Draught @ Uptown Taproom, Chicago (backlog from 2023). Cloudy dark yellow-amber with a small frothy beige head, faint malty aroma, low carbonation, bitter caramel malt taste with toffee flavor, thin body, long medium bitter finish. Not very bitter but still fine.

16oz can. A rather classical APA. Rich malt backbone, simple classical NW bitterness. Well made, all around enjoyable. OK.

16oz can. Big cheesy lacto lemon lime aroma. Mellow, wheaty, true to style other than the massive plastic candy lemon lime tone. Excellent base beer, but I am not wild about this iteration. Good for what it is, but I would much prefer to the unflavored version.

12oz can. Pretty cool beer. Big coconut, big Quad base. Rich, heavy, a slow sipper. The flavors work rather well together. Tasty, well executed.

12oz can. Nice stuff. Pretty much drinks like a Belgian Xmas beer. Sweet, with an herbal edge that has a faded out a little over time. Classic brown sugar touched Dubbel tone underneath. Good.

16oz can. Transparent orange-tan aroma. Steady white head. Big, floral hop tone. Refreshing medium body, not hollow or thin, lots of tone, flavor, depth. Brighter hop tone than typical, more earthy roundness, close to IPL. Good.

16oz can. Big, bold coffee forward aroma. Really nails it. Medium bodied, easy drinking. The underlying Pils tones are still there, crisp, clean, fresh, and the coffee gives it some nice depth. Great mouthfeel. Really well executed.

A crisp and very nice soft amber coloured body with a good sized, three to four centimetre tall off-white and light tan head that stays afloat nicely and leaves a subtle lace on the side of the glass. Aroma of crisp grassy and floral notes with a big yeast kick from seemingly lager yeasts with a perfumey component and some soft toasted malts or specialty grains here as well. Medium-bodied; Relatively strong crisp and grassy, floral flavour at first with a lot of dryness, some hay and bitter malt notes with a light dose of caramelised sugars and nuttiness along with a rustic, earthy finish and a light touch of low alpha acid hops for some noticeable bitterness, too. Aftertaste shows a dry, lagery, crisp quality that seems to stem from the malts used, but a big component of it as well is the yeast which again (throughout) seem to be a lager yeast with a perceived dryness, especially at the end - good for the style, really. Overall, a pretty nice saison and more of a grisette seeming beer with a dry quality throughout and some low sugars with a good malt quality and a hint of complexity from the yeast, too. Good to sample while the season is turning! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Siciliano's in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 03-August-2021 for US$3,99, canned on 17-Ocober-2020 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 16-April-2023, a day before leaving back for my home state of Michigan.

16oz can. Nice aroma, big cucumber, mild pepper. Quite a unique creature, zesty yeast notes as well. A little odd at first, but really grew on me. Unique, well executed.

16oz can. Pretty solid Berliner. The mango tone is sort of bland but serves it purpose, the chili is almost absent, mild at best. Solid base beer saves it.
