473ml can. Pours a hazy gold yellow with a small, fizzy, short lived, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Sweet aroma of grainy wheat, vanilla, lime, yeast and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat, lime, coconut, yeast, oats and floral hops in a dry, acidic, tart Lacto finish. Medium body with a syrupy texture and average carbonation. Juicy and fun.

568mL can, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is very tropical, with lots of tropical fruits, some pithiness, and light hops. Flavour is more like a fruit punch than a hoppy beer—lots of tropical fruit punch, not really any hops. Meh.

Way better than commercial ales, but definitely playing the margins between commercial beer and craft beer standards. Caramel malt and pumpkin on the nose. The refreshing session taste profile includes rich malts, pumpkin, and grassy hops. Soft carbonation and a hint of berries round out this easy drinker.

A sweet malt and complex fruity nose are harbingers of taste elements to come. First and foremost, this beer has a very soft taste profile. Call it gentle. Sweet malts form an appropriate base for a varied hop profile, featuring kiwi, passion fruit, a spritz of citrus and peaches. There is almost no residual bitterness in the aftertaste. It’s a hot humid summer day in Ottawa, and am emjoying every sip of this white IPA!

A very tasty thick and roasty variation on the Black IPA theme. The overall taste profile features a nice marriage of slightly bitter coffee and chocolate elements with gripping hops, toasted malt and a touch of cherries and cream. There is a strong sub-taste of mollasses or dark toffee, but it is not too sweet. The body is thick and satisfying and the significant effervescence punches up the taste. This blend works really well for me.
