Cask at EBF April 23. Aroma has citrus and malts. Opaque dark gold. Thin foamy translucent white head. Medium bitter. Woody. Tart citrus. Underlying malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Long dry slightly astringent finish. Nice enough Gold.

Keg at the John O'Gaunt, Hungerford. Sweet citrus and biscuit aroma with a yeasty streak. Light gold. Very thin translucent white head. Light-medium bitter with a citrus streak. Underlying sweet maltiness and a touch of soda water. Light bodies. Thin but slick. Slightly chalky. Flat carbonation. Long dry finish. Enjoyable enough.

12/7/2019. Cask at the Five Bells, Wickham, Berks. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of hops, toffee, citrus, roasted malt and light chocolate. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice.

12/7/2019. Keg at the Five Bells, Wickham, Berks. Pours golden with a small white head. Aroma of hops, grass, light tropical fruit, citrus, malt and grapefruit. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, average carbonation.
