CBHWS2025. Hazy yellowish orange colour with a mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is pineapple, some tropical fruits, mild oats with some biscuity tones as well as some peach. Flavour is citrus, some pineapple, mild tropical fruits, oats and a bit grainy tones to it. Quite much on the sweet side.

Dense and fairly sweet, ample dark malt character, booze, barrel, earth. A little basic. OK.

CBJ tasting. Thanks to Lennart and Lars for the can. A light haze on this dark brown beer, small tan head. Smooth and slightly viscous palate, mild fine carbonation, fine for the style. Smooth dark chocolate, a little chocolate cake. Mellow bourbon soaked fruits. Smooth finish. Tidy.

Bottle @ Patricks. Pitch black body under a good locking beige head. The aroma brings the WOW factor for me, it’s very strong with nice, dark malt, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla and tonka beans. The flavor is sweet malt and milk chocolate with cocoa, vanilla, tonka beans, good bitterness, some spices and warming alcohol. But it does not feel sticky sweet, there is a fine balance against the bitterness and alcohol. Full boded and very long aftertaste. This is a really god one to round off the evening with.

On tap @ Kufle i Kapsle, Warsaw. Unclear orange body with a white head. Mild aroma of acidic fruit and subtle strawberry. Flavor is nice and refreshing, not to acidic, red berries in general with a subtle strawberry touch. Medium body and refreshing in aftertaste. It’s OK, but nothing to go wild about.
