Poured @ MBCC 2023 blue session (finally adding my notes). Dark brown with small beige head. Chocolate, roast malt, good non-adjunct imperial stout.

(Bottle) Hazy pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Hoppy, fruity nose with notes of candied pineapple, pine needles, tropical fruit and citrus. Hoppy, fruity taste with pineapple, passionfruit, candied fruit, pine needles, lemon, white bread and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, but possibly a bit too much candy. Quite nice.

Can 33 cl. Pours a slightly hazy yellow with a tiny, rough, white head. Lactic, tart aroma - like a clean Gose. Light body, dry and lactic tart with very little going on. Ends a little watery. Meh. 090125 5/2/4/2/11=2.4

Pours a hazy yellow-gold with white head, reasonable retention. Aroma of mandarin, grapefruit and a big pine/earthy spice hit. Taste seems to lose all that intensity from the aroma. It has a pleasant lime peel, grapefruit, mango and pine but watered down. Light to medium bodied - there are some oats to firm the body up. Its ok.

Can from Beer52 and my first from this brewery. Hazy pale gold with moderate sized white head. Dank hops, overripe but juicy tropical fruits, pepper on the nose. Really nice juiciness in the taste with pineapple, mango and passionfruit, somewhat herbal and bitter in the finish for contrast. Notes of pine and coconut also. Smooth body. Very good DIPA.

Can from Beer52. Hazy yellow-gold with small white head, nice retention. Nice hoppy aroma of grapefruit, flora, citrus zest, hop spice and light funk. Taste of orange zest, passionfruit, mango, spice; tasty. Medium bodied, smooth, soft slightly frothy carbonation. Wow, probably just me, but I think this is excellent. I could drink this all day so probably a good job I only had the one can!

Tap at Beer Hunters. Opaque colour and small beige head. Alcoholic, sweet saffron aroma. Medium-bodied. Alcoholic, medicinal licorice flavour with saffron. Very restless.
