Draught (Stockholm Beer Festival, 2009) - Amber with a slight haze. Hoppy aroma with pine, peach, toffee and grapefruit. Fresh, tangy and hoppy taste with grapefruit and caramel combining nicely. The finish is fairly bitter with notes of grapefruit standing out.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 18 Sep 2009) Pale amber colour with brief, bubbly head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of grapefruit and pine needles. Very aromatic hop character. Fruity, hoppy taste with orange peel, dried apricots, grapefruit and pine needles. Lovely hop character, with more emphasis on aroma than bitterness. Rather light body, balanced sweetness. Very nice beer.

Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy golden, fair sized head. Perfumy lychee aroma. Mid sweet with rounded mouthfeel. and medium body. Plenty of gooseberry and grapefruit. Quite bitter finish. Very concentrated aroma and flavor of hops that drives this beer from nose to finish.

Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Hazy amber, airy head. Floral hoppy nose. Sweetish with light caramely crystral malt character. Light bodied of course, but never thin, clean mouthfeel. Quite hoppy with notable bitterness. 2.8%? Reallly??

Tap, SBWF. The color was dark amber-like, foam rather big. Much grass, grapefruit, hops and some caramel and some chocolate. The beer had a pleasant bitter end, nicely balanced. So nice to have a good Swedish Double IPA!

On tap. It’s a clear, dark brown beer with a small, beige head. Slightly roasted nose with a little licorice and nice hops. Hoppy, slightly chocolaty flavor, roasted and citrusy with hints of licorice. Full-bodied and sweet. Long hopped finish with a nice bitterness. A rather lovely brown ale, not to big, and quite tasteful. (090529)

Bottle. It’s a semi-clear orange-golden beer with a small, off-white head. Malty, caramel-sweet nose with citrusy hops up front. The flavor is malty-sweet and slightly bready, quite low on bitterness, but with a fine citrusy hoppyness. Medium body and a decent finish with some bitterness. A true quencher and the way a lawnmower beer should taste. (090529)

Dark brown to black color. Light aroma, metallic, vanilla. Dry mouthfeel, with a sharp sourness from the roasted malt, dark caramel flavor, quite strong bitterness from the roasted malt too. It’s based only on the roasted malt, aggressive.

Bottle from NK Stockholm. Good taste of citrus but the carbonation is to sharp to be the satsisfying thirst quencher it wants to.
