(Hand bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of rickgordon/gnoff. Clear, amber golden with a tall, off-white head - shaving foam style. Fresh, citrusy nose. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel and again citrusy notes - almost vitamin-like. Rather subdued bitterness. 290607

Draught at Bishop’s Arms, Malmö
Dark amber color with red hue; creamy head. Great hop aroma, a bit fruity, green hops. Good body strength, very good malt and caramel taste, with strong hopping, well aromatic and with hop oils; low carbonation (luckly! It allows to perceive full flavors). Excellent.

Beautiful hazy amber color; thin persistent head. The aroma is well hoppy, a lot aromatic, hop fruitness too. The flavor is less malty than many others, the body is not too strong, but the hopping is really bold, hoppy, resiny, aromatic, wondeful, Very good beer.

Hazy amber color. Apple aroma, yeast. The body is not malty enough, but it has some sweetness, some apple fruitness, strong bitterness (quite good hopping), long final.

Dark chestnut color. A hint of European hops in the aroma. The body is too weak, with dark caramel and some roasted malt. Simple.

Dark brown color with amber hue; creamy head. Good aroma of malt, caramel, hop, some yeast. Soft mouthfeel, caramel taste, residual sweetness, light roasted malt; weak body at the end; medium-low bitterness, if not for the roasted malt. Too easy, at least it’s also refreshing and easy to drink.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours black and opaque with a creamy, beige head. Distincly burned, coffeeish aroma. Rather solid body with very burned accents, licorice, coffee, tar and a whiff of smoke. A vague acidity probably deriving from the malt - ditto with the heavy bitterness. 160607

(Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear, amber golden with a creamy, yellowish head. Fat, hoppy aroma. Medium body with dry, nutty accents, fat, hoppy citrus notes and a dry, hoppy finish. This is dry as a bone and way too dry for my palate - there’s fundamentally some residual sweetness lacking here. 160607

Draft. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet with a lovely coffee note combined with notes of vanilla and dark milk chocolate and light notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet malty with very powerful notes of cocoa beans, dark bitter chocolate, and vanilla, citrus - especially grapefruit, leading to a dry bitter cocoa finish. Nice.
