Flight pour at brewery. Pours almost completely clear with a slight blonde tint. Aroma has apple skins and some barnyard funk. Flavour has dry apple skins, tannins, and a nice spicy wood character, funk on the finish. Pretty decent.

Flight pour at cidery. Pours clear pale blonde. Aroma has mostly dry apples with some slightly dank and citric hops. Flavour has dry apples, a touch acidic, some dank citric hops. The hops definitely contribute positively to the product, though it's still fairly mediocre.

Flight pour at cidery. Pours clear pale blonde. Aroma is fairly dry, apple skins, and some peppers. Flavour has quite the kick from the habaneros, makes me blush. Fairly dry cider, though any subtlety is overwhelmed by the peppers. Usually my complaint is an insufficient dosage of hot peppers, but in this case it was a bit overkill.

Flight pour at cidery. Pours clear rose-gold. Aroma has gentle cranberry and rhubarb. Flavour semi-sweet, plenty of cranberry and excess sugars; rhubarb is present but hard to find. The adjuncts would work better in a dry cider.

500ml (thx, Renny!) @ Salesforce. Appearance: clear champagne with no head. Aroma: some cat pees, fruity. Taste: along the same lines. Overall: this is definitely an off-flavour one.

500mL bottle. Pours clear pale blonde. Aroma has very gentle honey and apple skins. Flavour has semi-sweet apples, some honey and aromatics. It's fine, but pretty boring.

It's pale, smells a bit like kitty litter. On the palate, it's appley with a light honey note. It does feel like it's dry and the honey character is mellow. It's not bad - I do prefer my cyser to be more on the mead side, and maybe more complex.

500mL bottle, pours a clear pale blonde, no head. Aroma has fermented out honey, gentle floral notes, and a touch of kitty litter. Flavour is closer to a cider than a mead, with surprisingly boozy floral apples, fermented out honey, and light-to-moderate sweetness. A bit jumbled and uncoordinated, but it's alright. Fine for a session cider/mead, but nothing exciting.

500ml (thx, Renny!) @ Matt's house. Appearance: clear golden. Aroma: very dry, maybe some sweetness, tannic, apples, apple seeds. Taste: very simple, quite dry, some apples here, mostly just tannic. Overall: ok.

500mL bottle. Pours clear gold. Aroma has dry apples and nice dirty, funky. Flavour has dry apples, and a touch of funk; the nose promised more funk than the palate delivered. This is okay.
