Bottle from the brewpub. Pours slightly hazy robust amber with airy but stable beige head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, and yeast, with touches of hops and diacetyl. Bitter, hoppy flavour with touches of nuts and a whole lot af diacetyl. Bitter and malty aftertaste with sour notes. Not a success.

Bottle, 8.0%. Mild malty aroma, slightly oxidised. Hazy dark golden colour. Small frothy, but stable, white head. The flavour is yeasty and peppery. Good mouthfeel. Yeasty finish with a little peppery note as well. Tastes fairly authentically Belgian.

Bottle, 7,2%. Malty yeasty aroma, reminding me of my own happy homebrewing days. Black colour with a very big stable creamy light brown head. The flavour is bitter and jammy. I would say the bitterness is uncompromising to say the least. Not so pleasant bitterness. There is also some citrusy aroma hop, so to me it is a hoppy porter or a strong black IPA. Would have scored it 7.2, but it did not add up.

Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour, with mild sweetish notes of yeast and malt. Intensely bitter aftertaste with estery and malty notes. A decent porter, dryhopped and quite bitter, but not aggressive.

Bottle, 6.5%. Thank you, Bamsen78! The aroma is quite malty, slightly caramelly, and also a little alcoholic. The appearance is a hazy greyish copper colour with a creamy white head. The flavour starts off quite bitter with a little yeast. Then comes a nice caramelly note. It also has some citrusy hop notes which I did not expect in a Doppelbock. The finish has a distinct bitterness, uncompromising but clean enough.
