Tap at the brewpub - Northampton. Pours clear yellow-gold with a creamy white head. The nose holds some pale bread, orange, pine needles. Medium sweet flavor with rindy citrus bitterness, dry but slightly doughy pale malts, lemon rind, hints of orange. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Well balanced to finish with lightly crunchy pale malts, restrained. Itrus, subtle hay. Slow starter but strong finisher.

Tap at the brewpub - Northampton. Pours lightly hazy yellow-gold with a fine, frothy white head. Lovely aroma, all husky grains, straw and lemon rind. Light to medium sweet flavor with crunchy hay, slight grapefruit, lemon peel. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry finish with bitter hay, grainy pale bread. Good balance, great depth.

On tap at the Brewpub Comes to the table a solid black frothy off white head. Huge coffee and roasted grain in the nose with bits of vanilla, caramel and earthy hops. The flavor is more roasted grain and burnt caramel than anything else. Light dark fruit and earthy hop. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. This seemed quite thin in body for the style and the flavor was not horribly complex imho. The recipe must change because I remember having this a few years back and being blown away, this time not so much.

On tap at the Brewpub Comes to the table a cloudy amber color with a creamy off white head. Malty caramel aroma with a solid shot of resinous hops. The flavor is malty and rich with a huge resinous earthy hop flavor that I really wasn’t expecting. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. A bit hoppy for the style, but hell I’m not complaining it works.

On tap at the Brewpub Comes to the table a medium mahogany color with a creamy off white head that leaves lots of lace on the way down. Burnt caramel and buttery nose with hints of dark fruit, sulfur, and light earthy hops. The flavor is a classic English earthy mineral malty profile with bits of toffee and diacytyl. Medium to thick body with a light level of carbonation and a sweet slick mouthfeel. Classic and probably close to style, but my sensitivity to diacytyl prevents me from enjoying this brew.

On tap at the Brewpub Comes to the table a medium golden color with a smallish off white head that leaves lots of lace on the way down. Huge dank resinous pine nose, malt, yeah I assume there is some here but my nostrils are on lupulin overload. The flavor is a smooth resinous pine dank flavor with hints of bready caramel. Very nice IPA, in fact I went back for seconds.

Dull brown color, some amber tones. Not a strong aroma yet mildly fruity. Did not see where the aroma came from upon drinking it. Had some watery notes mixed in with some bitter notes. Alcohol flavor arose after it should have, in the body, alone, followed by some slightly grainy hops taste. Too watery and flavor is not even.
