Bottle. Pours with a still, mostly clear deep red hued body with strong legs. Aromas are of deep raspberry, almost woody, intensely perfumed, chocolate, raspberry seeds. Still strongly floral and zesty honey. Alcohol completely hidden. Flavors are of tart raspberry, zesty and floral honey, mild fruit tannins, great acid/sweet/tannin balance. Huge fruit notes yet the honey is still there. Really well done. Good heft to the body, still, no alcohol flavor.

Acquired through a trade last month. Split 3 ways with Tommy and Heather. 375ML, $35.99 in tasters at room temperature.
A - Really pretty dark purple, vinous almost pinot noir color. Actually, a small 1 finger fizzy head formed on the pour.
S - I do get a really solid boozy aroma on this one. Sweet clover honey and a definite blackberry nose with just a little bit of pear and concord grape jelly.
T - Well, this is incredibly dry. OMG. Like it pulls all of the liquid out of your mouth, leaves an almost oak barrel dry merlot grape skin taste. Blackberry up front but oh boy that finish is so dry and really difficult to get through the pour.
M - Thin, very dry,
O - Yeah, so for the price. Regular Blackberry is way better. This is $15 USD more I think than Blackberry but it’s not a bottle I’d buy again.

Bottle receiver in trade. Thank you umich03jm! Pours deep golden leaving some subtle legs on the glass. Smell is fruity with honey, canned peaches, peach cobbler, marzipan, soil, lemon peal and alcohol. Taste is sweet, tiny sour and fruity with honey, peaches, marzipan peach cobbler, crushed almonds, hay, soil, lemon peal and alcohol. Mouthfeel is round, fruity tart, boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet and sour with honey, peaches, marzipan peach cobbler, dry soil, lemon peal and alcohol. Very intense peach character. I like the almond peach cobbler aspect but it’s not as refined and balanced as other Schramm offerings.

Bottle receiver in trade. Thank you umich03jm! Pours pale golden leaving some nice looking legs on the glass. Smell is sweet, floral, slightly earthy and tiny spicy with honey, humid tropical greenhouse air, tropical flowers, mango, pineapple, moist soil, damp green leaves, nutmeg, lemon zest and hints of alcohol. Taste is sweet, fruity and floral with honey, cherimoya, mango, papaya, pineapple, nutmeg, mineral rich well water, lemon peal and hints of alcohol. Mouthfeel is round, tiny viscous, tiny sticky sweet, tiny boozy and medium bodied. Finish is sweet with honey, cherimoya, nutmeg, hay, well water and hints of alcohol and lemon zest. Damn, this blew me away! I expected something rather spicy and nutty but this is a cherimoya tropical fruit bomb. Very nice and what a surprise!

Bottle. Deep ruby liquid with no head and lots of lacing. Aroma of fresh raspberries, floral honey, very light booze, light herbs and light licorice. Taste is medium sweet with notes of raspberries, light licorice, raspberry candy and honey. Medium to full bodied with no carbonation. Really, really good. Lots of raspberry action.
