This is a blood red, purplish color with really nice legs. Nose is actually really interesting. It smells almost too fresh, boozy, cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. it’s actually a very herbal nose followed by the definitive cherry nose. The taste is quite excellent. Really nice almost no booze, great sweetness that matches well with the sour cherries certainly a top tier cherry used in this beer. The only flaw is that at the finish, I get a faint latex glove,plastic taste. I can only hope that fades with time. Super drinkable. this is not a mead, this is some next level jamba juice gone organic w/ god tears.

Poured from bottle thanks Willrunforbeer/umich03jm. Pours clear dark purple with a strong aroma of ripe berries. Taste is sweet cherry and honey with a smooth rich mouth feel. A wonderful mead.

Bottle at Willrunforbeer grand mead tasting. Clear gold color with a fresh cut Apple and light honey.
Press and slice up some apples and put some mead in a blender. Well integrated natural fruit with a mild wildflower hint in the backend. Super easy to drink.

Poured from bottle nice golden color with laces that hold around the glass. Aroma is of fresh pressed apples and mild honey. Taste is sweet and crisp with a luscious mouth feel. Super smooth mead.

Acquired via Mazer’s Club. Enjoyed split quite a few ways @ room temp in stemware on Christmas. Looks a very light golden yellow. Swirl reveals only mild alcohol legs. The nose reminds me more of ginger with only a touch of nutmeg. Very interesting. Wow, well this is much sweeter than expected. Nutmeg galore which isn’t a favorite spice of mine.Dry finish, very flavorful, thin mouthfeel. Really good but next to the berry offerings from Schramm’s, I’m not a huge fan.

375 mL bottle shared by jackl at the 21st Richmond Gathering, 11/1/14. Pours a clear pale golden color, moderate legs. Aroma of peach, vanilla, earth, honey, peach pits. The taste is vanilla, honey, peach. Medium bodied, mild booze but not hot. Yet another great one from Schramm.

Bottle [no 10 of 36] shared @ tasting. Very dark red to purple color, virtually no head. Smells like warm dark overripe cherries. Taste is dark overripe cherries, only slightly sweet, a bit hard to describe really. Dry finish, quite vinous. Rich flavors, still balanced. Pretty damn nice!

Bottle shared, big thanks to phillycraft. Pours dark purple with no real head. Aroma of strong dark cherry, hairspray, perfume, blackberries. Flavour is moderate sweet, the sweetness set back by dryness and the pure fruitiness. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Clear pale golden liquid. Aroma of ginger, honey, red berries, dried fruit, peaches and hay. Taste is medium sweet with notes of peaches, ginger, dried fruit and honey. Medium to full bodied with no carbonation. Excellent mead. Extremely complex with loads of notes that isn’t just honey, as compared to other highly rated, primarily Polish, meads. Very elegant. A real treat. Just enough burn from the ginger in the taste to make it interesting.
