Pours a near black from a tap, off white head. Nearly burnt aroma, bitter coffee and baker's chocolate flavor. Pretty good beer.

Pours a clear golden amber from a tap, thin white head. Big floral aroma from the honey continues in the mouth along with a somewhat sour mash note. Good, complex.

Pours a hazy amber from a can, thick white head with some lacing. Some citrus and stone fruit aromas largely dissipate on the tongue replaced with soapy bitterness, but not unpleasant. Thin and watery. Okay beer.

Pours a nice red-tinged brown from a can. Sour mash aroma, similar flavor, crisp. Good beer.

Pours a nice hazy dark amber from a can, pillowy white head. Light pine aroma is hard to detect. Flavor is a light citrusy pine behind a sweet, nearly honey flavored malt. Okay beer.

Pours a nice brown from a tap, apparently a special restaurant-only release. Rich malty aroma, not hoppy. Sweet malt flavor. Good beer, kind of standard brown ale.

Pours a brown/black from a cask. Big vanilla/toffee aroma and flavor but with a surprisingly piney finish. A little oily and definitely tastes big. Pretty good beer.

Pours a rich brown from a tap. I don’t know if they used candi sugar, but it smells like a rich clean dark sugar, a fantastic tartness without being overpowering. Nice dark fruits in the flavor. Very good beer.

Pours a dark black from a tap with an espresso crema head. Aroma is a woody, licorice-y, burnt molasses and chocolate. Very little cherry flavor coming through, I asked the brewmaster if the cherry referred to wood chips, but he said the Montmorency cherries didn’t add as much flavor, just tartness. That said, it’s very tart, very astringent, very thick, with a big burnt malt backbone after all the rest. Okay beer.

Pours a deep copper from a growler. Slightly spicy smell and flavor, I suppose a little sage but not much. Good beer, although not striking me as a saison at all.
