Description
Kâld Kletske is al sinds 2014 een bekende naam, dit bier is ontwikkeld en werd gebrouwen door Sytze Hoogstins (brouwerij de Hoge Stins). In augustus 2017 is Sytze Hoogstins helaas overleden.

Bottle at home. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, spicy notes, liquorice, roast, a bit burnt, hint of chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Not a bad Bock at all, surprisingly roasty with lots of liquorice and caramel.

From tap at 5e Noordelijk Lentebierenfestival, Leeuwarden. Aroma is malty caramel, mild hops, and notes of sweetish ripe fruits. Flavour is above moderate sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Quite malty for a beer called "Hoppig". Drinkable but not great.

Bottle from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle. Aroma is quite spicy with dark malt, caramel, lots of "gagel" spices, liquorice root, with soft dark fruity notes, and some brown sugar. Flavour is sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Heavily spiced, not really my kind of beer but certainly well-made.

Bottle from a local bottle shop. Aroma is grainy malt with noble hops, biscuit, lightly floral, and notes of minerals. Flavour is moderate bitter, body is medium. Solid unfiltered Pils, I like how this brewery has been developing lately.

Bottle from a local bottleshop. Aroma is spicy yeast, pale malt, citrus, lemon peel, some floral and grassy notes. Flavour is fairly sweet with a mild bitterness, the finish promises some dryness but the sweetness lingers. Body is medium. On the sweet side but rather pleasant Saison and one of their more well-rounded beers.
