Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 28/01/2025.
New brewery scope.
Orange amber topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl in time.
Nose is bitter orange, grass, straw, hint of caramel malts.
Taste comprises biscuit, grains, orange zest, light astringent notes, caramel.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close spiked with earthy hop bitterness.
Okay and drinkable but rather the basic model in this era.

Can. Near clear gold beer, short lived bubbly pale cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Snooker malts, a modest sweetness, trace of caramel, just a forensic trace really. The UK Cascade brings light pine into slightly ripe orange and mandarin. Light finish brings a touch of citrus peel. Yeah, this is kinda the reason I am not a big West Coast fan. Some modern takes on the style are good but this more classical. Thankfully not too much caramel and its perfectly drinkable, it just doesn't get my juices flowing at all.

Tap at The Gas Lamp, Manchester. Hazy dark gold with small white top. Notes of orange, grapefruit and strawberry. Has a creamy medium body with a moderate zesty bitterness. My first try of this new brewery and they are one to look out for.
