Greif-Bräu Rauchbier, Flasche von Getränke Stumpf, Theisenort. - Kupfergold, klar. - In der Nase milde Rauchigkeit, nur zart kratzig, über warm brotig-karamelligem Malz mit feiner blumiger Hopfung. - Antrunk sauber und tief brotig-karamelmalzig mit delikater Malzbonbonsüße, unauffälliger Frucht (Johannisbeere) und feiner, perfekt eingepaßter Rauchigkeit mit nur einer Andeutung von Schinken. Fein grasige und leicht blumige Hopfung. Milder rezent, vollmundig, angenehm mineralisch und dennoch weich. Im Abgang harmonieren feine Karamelsüße, leise Rauchigkeit und milde blumige Hopfung. - Schönes, mild rauchiges und sehr rundes Rauchbier. (17.8.2024.)

Clear golden pour with a decent white head. Aromas of bread, malt, citrus/lemon. Taste is similar (with a hint of herbs). Not bad on a summer day.

Bottle from the Forchheim railway store, shared with Barba and Elena at the Ladronka discgolf course. Clear golden body, lazy carbonation, white head. Grainy, bit worty maltiness in the aroma, herbal hoppy touches. Pleasant herbal and floral hoppy touches, but the taste is sweetish, bit grainy and worthy, without much bitterness. Another German pils that's barely a pils by any stretch, but this is hoppy for the brewery's standards I guess.
