Bottle from the Forchheim railway store, shared with Barba and Elena at the Ladronka discgolf course. Clear golden body, lazy carbonation, white head. Grainy, bit worty maltiness in the aroma, herbal hoppy touches. Pleasant herbal and floral hoppy touches, but the taste is sweetish, bit grainy and worthy, without much bitterness. Another German pils that's barely a pils by any stretch, but this is hoppy for the brewery's standards I guess.

Bottle from the Forchheim train station store. Goodbye drink with the Swedes in Bamberg and then on my walk to the station. Darker amber-red body I guess, off-white head. Creamy, grainy, sweetish, lightly floral aroma. Same taste - creamy, grainy, sweetish maltiness, with light floral touches. Okay!

Maß at the Annafest from Greif's keller. Dark golden, it seemed. Dry aroma, floral, caramelly. Sweetish taste, matly caramelly, lightly grainy, bit herbal and floral. Tasty, but there's a little bit of acetaldehyde. Good enough, but not to repeat 1l of for me.

Bottle, thanks Gregor! Deep golden, clear, lively carbonation, golden foam. Juicy smoky malt aroma. Medium full body, bready, light fruit, smoked creme caramel, grassy, light flowery hops. Cake aftertaste.

Cloudy, golden color and a white head. Grassy nose, crips, hoppy. Taste Starts with nice bitterness, hoppy,faint malty and slightly sweet.

Clear golden pour with a nice, frothy white head. Aroma is mainly malt/grain and lemon/citrus. Taste is malt/grain, herbs, citrus and a hint of pepper in the finish. Very nice, given the low ABV.

500 ml bottle. Almost clear dark golden with a stable fluffy head. Stone fruit, metal, vanilla, smoked ham, lemon, caramel. Fruity sweetness, metallic bitterness, some umami. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft to lively carbonated, dry smoky fruity malty bittersweet finish. Quite good Rauchbier, not that much smoke here to be found, more on the fruity side, which is remarkable, but a nice composition overall!
