Sample at Moth Lane Brewing. Interesting idea of using water from a river with sea salt. However happy I had only the sample. A very light bodied beer & extremely pale nearly clear looking.

Amber colour, with a slight haze. Smells chewy, some lemony hop, pine, and a lot of caramelly malt notes. On the palate, it's got that old school chewiness, followed by grapefruit, and more of those dried pine needles. It's decently constructed, but certainly in the late 90s interpretation, pushing it on the crystal malt.

Murky pale amber-brown. No head. Toasty, fruity, yeasty. The fermentation isn’t spot on so the elements aren’t coming together all that well. Light toffee, the hop is a bit harsh for 25 IBUs. Yeah this is a yeast thing.

Slight haze, medium amber, no head. Toasty, caramel, light fruitiness. Moderate bitterness. Balanced. Decent example.

Pale, with a slight haze. Thin head. Kettle sour that’s *mostly* clean. Medium pineapple juice. Not so interesting.

Pale with slight haze. Thin head. Fruity aroma, though the palate has some harsh graininess. Light esters but also…yeah yeasty, light diacetyl; not the cleanest fermentation.

On tap at Stillwell. Pours hazy gold with white head. Aroma has pine and moldy citrus? (Not affectionate.) Flavour has a lot of resin and pine, orange peel; a bit cloying. Mouthfeel is chalky. Not great.
