On tap at Vegans, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Nose brings out light lactose, with stone fruit pith and some citrus hops. Flavour is gently sweet, with lactose upfront, followed by citrus hops, and biscuity malt. Dry, fruity and semi-sweet, without much complexity. It's alright.

330mL can, pours a cloudy muddy orangey yellow with a medium white head. Aroma reveals somewhat artificial strawberry upfront, with little else discernible. Flavour is along the same lines, with bright, fake strawberry upfront, followed by flakes wheat, and light floral notes. Drinkable enough, but it's not a good beer.

330mL can, pours a clear piss yellow with a small white head. Aroma smells like Sprite or Fresca, with not much beer character. Flavour is little more beery, that is, more like a cheap lager with artificial lime infused in it. It's like the Icelandic version of Bud Lite Lime. What else are you going to drink when you're in the middle of nowhere, Iceland, and this is all the Vnbin has? At least it's not palate-wrenchingly offensive.

On tap at lstofa Akureyrar, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out fresh floral oranges upfront, with a biscuity malt base. Flavour is like drinking watered down, fresh orange juice, with a wheaty base. Nice use of oranges but could use much more oomph.

On tap at Hotel Valaskjalf, pours a clear amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt, a touch of caramel, and a hint of smoke. Flavour is similar, with toasted bready malt and a tiny hint of smoke. Clean and easy, but nothing special.

330 ml bottle. Pours dark gold, clear, some white foam. Malts in the nose, a bit husky. Tastes sweet, light bitterness, simple lager basically. Not bad, not special.
