Can: Poured a clear golden color lager with a large white foamy head. Aroma of adjunct and residual sugar is more or less pleasant. Taste is mostly dominated by adjunct with lots of residual sugar notes and a bland aftertaste. Body is about average with good carbonation. Standard adjunct base lager.

Can shared in Canary Wharf - picked up at the Reykjavik airport. Pours clear yellow with a lasting, frothy white head. Nice stuff, some biscuit, straw, mellow alcohol, white bread. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Finishes with more dry biscuits, hints of paper, straw. Solid.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at the airport in Iceland. Pours perfectly clear yellow-gold, lightly effervescent, with a lasting, frothy pure white head. Pleasant simple pale grains, some straw, biscuits. Light bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Finishes with subtle bitter hay, nips of grain husk, dry pale bread. Not bad overall.

Happy American thanksgiving! No pumpkin beer in Iceland. But they’ve got Jola Bjor (Xmas beer)!
