Tap at Stofan Cafe. Pours slightly hazy gold with a white head. Pale stone fruit aroma. Med body, almost. Flavor has a tang like citrus, but for me the flavor is mostly pale stone fruit. Fairly dry, decently bitter. Good session ale.

Tap at the Central Plaza Hotel. Pours bright gold with a white head. Aroma is bready with a note of spice. Medium body or nearly. Flavor is quite hoppy in a mixed grassy/spicy way. Almost hides the breadiness. Much more flavor impact than typical macro brews. I’ll drink it.

Tap at Frederiksen Ale House. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Toasty malt aroma. Flavor is toasty dark malt. It’s earthy and has possible chocolate and coffee notes. Flavor is strong IMHO. Quite good.

Bottle brought by the world's most awesome mother-in-law all the way from Iceland. Pours a slightly hazy light straw color with a thin head and aromas of slightly lemon, a bit of white pepper, a touch of honey and a little silo dust. Flavor is light and airy... kind of a whisp of lemon with a watery middle and a touch of pepper on the finish. It's lovely and tranquil.

Bottle from Vinibudin, Hevregerdi. Appearance - golden with steady carbonation. Nose - sweetcorn, light lemongrass. Taste - mainly sweetcorn, some citrus. Palate - light bodied, creamy-ish middle, dry finish. Overall - a solid citizen.

Can from Vinbudin, Hevragerdi. Appearance - golden amber with decent lacing. Nose - pungent ando grassy like silage. Earthy and grassy but with fermentation. Taste - resin, dried fruit, more fermented grass, musty seaweed. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy pungent middle. Still dry yet pungent on the finish. Overall - it's challenging. You grow to like it more but it's still not going to be your favourite.

Bottle from Vinbudin Heidrun, Reykjavik. Pours clear amber colour, topped with a foamy white head. Large and not so lasting. Gentle caramel maltiness, slightly biscuity nose. Medium sweet, caramel and midler biscuits. Mild bitterness. Medium aftertaste. Medium light body. Nicely enjoyable.
