Fearlessly tasteful beers crafted on the fringes of the High Peak in the Peak District. A small 8 BBL brewery based in the Hope Valley, Derbyshire. Draught @ MBCF17 [ Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2017 ] Manchester Central Convention Complex, Windmill Street, Manchester, Greater Manchester, England M2 3GX. [ As Intrepid Christmas Pudding Stout ].Clear dark black brown colour with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, cookie - cake, spicy, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy, cake, dark malt, chocolate. [ As Intrepid Sunrise ].Murky matt medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy - fizzy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white - silver head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, orange, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, tropical fruit, pale malt, sweet malt, dry, hop bitter. Sampled @ 27th Egham Beer Festival 2017. A slightly hazy golden beer with a small white head. Aroma of mild citrusy hops, pale malt. Taste of citrusy hops, not too bitter, pale malt, dry medium hoppy finish.

Cask @ Mr Foleys, Leeds. Golden with a creamy head. A bitter, and has quite a grainy-earthy aroma and taste.

Cask at Mr Foleyโ€™s Cask Ale House, shared with ManVsBeer. A beige bubbly head over a warm golden body. Sparse lacing. Mild caramel aroma. Taste profile of earthy hops, caramel and a backdrop of citrus. Ends with malt-fruity bitterness. Pretty nice. (Leeds 06.07.2017).

4.8% Cask gravity at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear amber brown colour lasting white head. Some toffee light hops. Caramel. Ok but more toffee than hops.

Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, orange, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, orange, fruity, pale malt.
