On tap at The 39 Steps Broadstairs. Black beer lasting tan head. Roasty aroma dark chocolate. But thin because of the cold keg hoppy finish no doubt. Ok i guess but it loses its way Good chocolate

Cask at Beer Rebellion GH. It pours clear orange - amber with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, juicy, tangy orange citrus, tangerine, marmalade and hay. The taste is pretty bitter, plenty of orange citrus, tangerine, tangy marmalade, wood, toasty grain, grass and pepper with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent tangy orange vibe. Not bad.

Clear golden colour. Thereโ€™s a light fruity hoppiness in both the aroma and flavour. Exceptionally thin bodied and watery though.

500ml bottle in my garden on 22nd Sep 2016. Slight haze to the amber body, fast fading off-white head. Woody, caramel and vanilla esters/flavours throughout. Fairly sweet, my sweet tooth liking the brew a lot.

Bottle from Bradwell Village Shop. Appearance - dark black kind of olive sheen. Nose - cereal immersed in milk. Chocolate edge. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a solid porter unfortunately tasted in the middle of a finer range. Itโ€™s quite like a brown ale.

Bottle from Bradwell Village Shop. Appearance - amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - dried orange and cake. Taste - honey and biscuits. Hobnobs. Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long tangy finish that could be drier. Overall - itโ€™s fine bit nor really an IPA in the modern sense of the style.
