Pours murky light gold into a shaker. Bright white soapy head with little retention recedes leaving soapy spiders. Pineapple and lemon aromas. Medium bodied with earthy lemon joy and pith and tangerine peel upfront turning to dry, bitter apple in lasting finish.

Thanks Tom aroma is cocoa, cinnamon, chilies. Taste follows, slightly thin, cinnamon at the fore, chocolate with chilies in the finish.

16 oz can, 7/26/21. Canned 5/26/21. Hazed pale yellowish color with a white head and plenty of lace. Nice citrus and apricot aroma. Some clean rind-style hop bitterness. Lightly dry. Nice flavor. Nice mouthfeel. Hybrid NE, in a good way. This is a good beer.

Can from tfontana. Black in color with a thin off white head that dissipates almost instantly. Rich milk chocolate with a heavy cinnamon aroma and flavor. A bit sweet, could use some hops or heat to balance.

Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade! Hazy murky lemon yellow with a thin bubbly white head that shows poor retention. Lemony earthy grassy hops bready malt to counter light grit in the mouthfeel. Not bad.

Can (4/13/21) from the brewery. It's an opaque, light brown-dark yellow with trace sparkle, finger-width off-white foamy head with poor retention and spotty lacing. Aroma is sweet grapefruit, mild cracker malt and a little dish rag. Taste is strong grapefruit/citrus with a hint of coconut and herb. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, better taste than aroma, and enjoyable, but fails to get everything out of this hop combination.

Can pour from the brewery. It's an opaque black with light sparkle at the edges of the glass, finger-width cap of fizzy light brown head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong cinnamon dominant over winter spices and subtle sweet roasted malts. Taste is strong cinnamon over winter spices and milder sweet, earthy malts. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, thin texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Very mild late heat. Overall, the cinnamon kind of drowns everything else out. Mouthfeel is a bit thin and watery. Lovers of Mexican stouts will find it appropriate for the style but it could use better balance.

16 oz. can traded by tfontana. Thanks Tom. Aroma shows cinnamon, roast, and soft pepper. Taste is coco, light cinnamon, moving to soft pepper without any heat. Finish is sweet and balanced by the spice. Body is a tad thin but the flavor is nice.

16 oz. can traded by tfontana. Thanks Tom. Date on can: 04/13/21. Aroma has soft citrus and a near coconut hint. The Sabro is in the flavor in a soft way. Shows a strange herbal bitterness near the finish. Very average for me.

Pours hazed gold into a shaker. Bright white head with excellent retention recedes leaving soapy lacing. Lemon and hay aromas. Crisp with lemon/lime and hay upfront turning to meadow and sourdough in before the lasting earthy pith finish.
