Can to tulip.
Appearance: amber color with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: sweet honey, super faint floral hops and some light malts - somewhat biscuity, I think? Hmmm...
Flavor: leads with the sweet honey tones, hops seem pretty non-existent but some of the malts seem slightly there; finishes with the honey
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being sessionable; pretty smooth along the tongue
Overall: yes sirreee, this is an actual honey beer, not a mead but an actual honey beer and one I wouldn't mind coming back to.

Can (2107--January 7, 2021?) pour from Table and Vine, W. Springfield. It's a hazy dark orange-light brown (like a weak iced tea) with decent sparkle, thin cap of off-white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is initial light candied fruit and citrus and then disappears into nothing. Taste is mild-to-moderate sweet mango with mild tart fruit contribution and significant bready malt presence. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, nothing is bad here but everything just needs to be amped up a little. Aroma and flavors are both fairly subtle and mouthfeel is thin for the style. On the plus side, no hint of the ABV!

Can from colonial spirits Slightly hazy dark yellow color with a huge frothy white head that persists. Bready toasty caramel maltiness with lots of citrus and a hint of grass and pine. Not bad.

Can, undated, purchased from some crappy package store in Ludlow (refrigerated), and drunk 6/3/17.
Clear, brass-yellow-lemon pulp color with stronger copper hues throughout. White head atop is initially large but falls fully to ring rather steadily.
White grape, celery stalk, black pepper, very faint orange peel and strongly bland biscuit certainly give the impression that this one has been sitting in the fridge too long. There’s very little of anything here, mostly yeast, very old hop notes and soggy malt character.
Bone dry, with no malt depth, loose carbonation and stale bitterness, this one is obviously past its prime. Hence why one should date their cans. While this obviously is obviously not a great representation of their beer, the old nature of it doesn’t explain the complete lack of malt texture/malt character. The beer is severely undermalted and the carbonation extremely fizzy and loose. Will definitely try more from these guys, but I’m not encouraged.

22oz Bottle. Hazy light amber with a light tan head. Light stale malt aroma. Grassy and sharp bitterness. Very little fresh hop flavors. Just dry and bitter.
