16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Ty Tom. Roma shows mild citrus with some and some grass. Flavor shows grass, herb and mild grapefruit hints. Very little bitterness but also, the Nelson doesn’t really show here much. That said, very easy to drink.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Aroma is mild straw and crisp crackery malt. Flavor has fresh straw, grassy notes and crisp crackery malt. Clean and fresh, with some lingering sweet malt. Solid and nicely drinkable.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. TY Tom! Aroma is bread like malt with mild citrus. Flavor follows with the weakest note of white grape. But my mind maybe playing tricks on me since I know Nelson is here. Extremely light but does have a refreshing quality about it.

Can pour from the brewery via Steve. Hazy orange with nice sparkle, thick head with excellent retention and splotchy lacing. Aroma is malt and faint stone fruit. Taste is bready malt forward over mild nonspecific fruit. Smooth, frothy texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste. I wish the hops (particularly these two!) were higher in the mix and too carbonated. Good strength for ABV.

Can pour from the brewery from trade with Steve. Clear, golden yellow with tons of sparkle, nice head with excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong cracker, pilsner malt over floral hops. Taste is strong florals over cracker/pilsner malt, rice. Smooth, soft carbonation and finish as taste. A gorgeous beer with nice mouthfeel, good strength and I like the floral hop contribution to the style. Brewed for the brewer's wedding. Nice!

Can pour from Steve. Hazy, dark maple-syrup brown with nice sparkle, finger-width beige head with excellent retention and trace lacing. Aroma is toasted malt and earthy toffee. Taste mirrors aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation, dry lightly bitter finish. True to style.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Than you Tom. Aroma is mild herb with a very non-descriptive fruit hint. I’ve never heard of Zappa hops. Flavor has undefined fruit with a sharp, herbal bitterness. Borderline astringent. Meh.

Can pour from Steve. Hazy orange with nice sparkle, finger-width white head with excellent retention and light lacing. Aroma is overriding nonspecific sweet fruit, mild citrus, transient whiff of herb. I get the prickly pear in the taste along with the grass and the dank bitterness over cracker base. Smooth, frothy texture, average carbonation, lingering bitterness in finish. I think first experience with Zappa, will have to stay on the lookout. Not super strong.
