Dark copper color, thick lasting head. Aroma of sweet malt and floral hops. Taste is floral hop bitterness, balanced by sweet caramel malt. Some spicy rye in the crisp finish.

4 oz. draft. Flavor of slight citrus, mild floral, and steady amount of pine in the finish. It is West Coast style by my tastebuds. Average bitterness for the style. About what I expected.

4 oz. draft. Extremely mellow. Clear appearance. No massive fruit, tropical fruit is hard to find. Comes through like mild citrus and a hint of herbal in the finish. This is a traditional American IPA.

4 oz. draft. Woody, slight cherry skin , slight malt finish. Pretty subtle. Low tartness. Very β€œsafe” approachable kettle sour. Nothing off or offensive.

4 oz. draft. Flavor has Earthy malt, grains, slight wheat. Mild clove, slight spice. This is more about the malts rather then the yeast. If it is a German yeast strain, it does not show many esters. No banana.

4 oz draft. Well, it has a very slight oak hint. To be blended with a Impy stout Makes me think the body would be beefer. Really thinner then the 1919 Strike Stout I just sampled. Meh

4 oz. draft. Slight earthy hop profile. Yeast and hops are balanced. Dry texture, slight bitterness. Nice surprise! Clearly the best beer of everything I had this pub.

4 oz. draft. Aroma showed me light malt, barley and chocolate. Flavor is mostly roasted malt with a hint of bitter chocolate. Let this warm up and it is like a typical β€œ Guinnessβ€œ clone. Pretty normal.

Draught at the brewery, 11/2/18.
Tan-beige-orange colored body shows good clarity and a butter-colored head atop of low-to-moderate retention.
Spice is fairly strong, certainly very evident, in the nose. Earth, vanilla, brown bread and light honey comprise the malt character and I'm not getting any hint of smoked malt promised from the commercial description. Clean and with no alcohol, but the spice is rather big.
In the mouth it's definitely overdone with the spice. Or at least too spice-forward for me. Not quite astringent and there is a good attempt at balance from the fairly sweet base malt honey-like character (with caramel mixing in due to specialty malt), but it's just another cinnamon-nutmeg-clove beer. It would have been so cool if they had done a smoked malt beer with a hint of spice, instead of the reverse that they've done here. But alas, the masses demand heavily spiced "pumpkin" beers, I guess.
