Draught at the brewery, 12/1/22. Lightly hazy, melon-copper. Small, off-white head to ring. Moderate lactic acidity but great fruit puree and good maltiness. Juicy, tropical, tart guava and mildly earthy dragon fruit. Clean, not harshly lactic. Soft, malty, juicy, fruity, great lactic and fruit acid balance. One of the better kettle sours I've had recently. Not a bunch of shit in it, good malt, great fruit, moderate lactic character.

Brewery draught, 12/1/22. Moderately hazy, golden-brass-maize. White head to ring. Light juice, lots of dry melon and stonefruit. Hint of biscuit, honey, with moderate yeast ester and light pine. Clean. Soft, juicy, stone fruit, black pepper and light cracker and biscuit malt. A bit overly fruity and thinner than I'd want for its size, but at least clean without resin/twang.

Brewery draught, 12/1/22. Mod-to-heavily hazy, bright, tangerine juice. Small, white head to ring. Really nice mix of melon, stone fruit and leafy, earthy mineral. They seem to do a good job w El Dorado, and these other two hops are just great hops so this comes off really nice. Soft, malty, good attenuation and with an awesome, spicy-dank undercurrent. Juicy, fruity, good honey-like malt. Good bitterness on the finish. Love the texture and balance, tending more bitter than usual for an NEIPA.

Brewery draught, 12/1/22. Moderately hazy, brass-golden. Small, white head to ring. Nose is super juicy and fruity, which is nice for El Dorado which is usually heavy pine. Clean, malty, seems dry. Flavor is pretty wacky with crazy esters from yeast including bubble gum. Some maltiness up front but it thins out a bit too much on the finish. Bubble gum, juju fruits, tangerine and light pine bitterness. For as yeasty as it is, it's dry and has ample but not overdone bitterness.

Pours murky deep gold into a shaker. White head with little retention crackles and recedes to skim surface. Mango and grapefruit aromas. Soft with dark, sour mango, tangerine and grapefruit front to back.

Can from tfontana, thanks for the trade! Hazy murky dark yellow with a decent sized frothy white head that slowly recedes. Lemony earthy grassy with bits of bready malt and a hint of warming alcohol.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thanks Tom! Appearance is a deep straw color with a thin lacing off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity citrus, bready malt. The flavor has fruity esters, the yeast gives sharp spices, resinous notes and the texture is drying. The kveik yeast is always different.

On tap as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque black with ruby highlights, no sparkle, cap of light brown head with decent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is earthy roasted malts. Taste is lightly sweet but strongly earthy, smoked roasted malts (slightly tart quality along with pretty strong bitter). Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, oatmeal stout should be thicker. Too earthy/smokey/roasted bitterness for my tastes (or the style) with added tartness not my favorite. Only Ok.

On tap as part of a flight at the brewery. Appearance is opaque dark yellow with trace sparkle, thin cap of off-white head quickly fading to a ring with light rings of lacing. Aroma is strong citrus and pine. Taste is strong citrus and pine as aroma. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good strength of aroma and flavor but fairly conventional DIPA.

Mixed review on tap as part of a flight at the brewery and can picked up same date. Appearance is opaque dark yellow-light brown with trace sparkle, finger-width off-white rocky foam head with decent retention and fair lacing. Aroma is dank and astringent lemon citrus and pine. Taste is strong astringent lemon citrus, pine, late yeast and background biscuit malt. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with lingering bitterness and yeast. Overall, strength of aroma and flavor is decent but a bit astringent. More toward conventional sort of retro DIPA than DNEIPA but kveik throws a hammer, I mean a monkey wrench, into things.
