Can pour from Ted's Package Store, Charlton. It's a virtually opaque dark brown with nice sparkle, finger-width beige head with fair retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong sweet malt, caramel, coffee, vanilla. Taste is strong caramel, coffee (more bitter than in aroma), vanilla over base malt. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with lingering dry, roasted bitterness. Overall, more complexity and better executed than I was expecting. A bit bitter on the finish.

Undated can thanks to Tfontana, thanks Tom! Drunk 5/28/23. Clear dark ebony. Medium-sized, tan head shows moderate-to-low retention. Smells mostly of adjunct and roasted barley. Vanilla, caramel, low base malt, but clean and not sugary, seemingly. Little touch of maltiness up front before thinning out severely. It's dry, at least, but it's just severely lacking in malt depth. Not overdone on the adjuncts either, which is nice. Would try more of their stuff based on this, but certainly wouldn't go out of my way to do so.

16 oz. can in a trade tfontana. Thanks for the new brewery tick! Nose of melted caramel and coffee beans. Flavor has coffee bean, roasted malt, and mild caramel. Body is appropriate for a porter. Decent but it certainly gets sweet as you drink.
