A 16 oz can held for about 6 months, bought at a swell liquor store in OKC on a brief visit to see our daughter. Cooled off somewhat before being tilted inside of a snifter. A classic appearance, jet black with a tall head of creamy medium tan foam. A decidedly, appreciated, throw-back scent of chocolate, grain, dark berries and wood. The drink follows that set course. Burnt grain, dark chocolate, some oakiness, a bit of char, raspberries and enough toffee sweetness to register. Rather bitter concluding along with a full mouth sensation. Could have been called a Russian Imperial Stout, I get that vibe. Enjoyable brew.

A 12 oz can bought at Freeman's Liquor, OKC, a few weeks ago. Basic, low tech label, not sure what that means. A local Oklahoma City brewery and beer in any case, time to make a rate. Using a snifter, I pull the tab and pour inside of the glass. A clear, medium yellow body topped with a stout head of fluffy white foam. The scent is fortunately citrus and hops centric. The drink is really pretty all right, maybe more than that. Cedar pine, lemons, honey, resin and malt. A nice DIPA, I would buy again.

Draught at Bricktown Brewery, 3/27/23. Clear brilliant golden-maize. Small, white head. Honey-like malts, clean, little/no hops. Seems like good attenuation and authentic yeast. Not corny. Soft, malty, good attenuation but still a nice honey-like character lingering. Hint of spicy hop, touch of apple. Could use maybe another week or two of conditioning, but this is quite clean and malty.
