Taster at the source. Golden peach on color without much of a head on it. Tropical Hawaiian punch dominates the aroma and flavor. Not much tart or malt evident. A beer for people who dont like the taste of beer.

Can pour from Beer & Wine Nation. It's an opaque dark, dark brown--virtually black--with light viscosity, thin cap of beige head with decent retention and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted and sweet peanut. Taste is moderately strong sweet and roasted peanut. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, pretty straightforward with good strength of aroma over taste.

Can pour from The Beer Store, Nashua. It's an opaque dark brown/burgundy with trace sparkle, finger-width beige head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is rich roasted malt, toffee, chocolate and pine. Taste is roasted malt, caramel and mild pine. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with fairly thick texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, aroma is really great for the style and, if the taste lived up to it, this would be amazing. Piney bite could be a bit more intense and a bit more carbonation.

Appearance is attractive clear golden yellow with tons of sparkle, finger-width foamy off-white head with good retention and nice lacing. Aroma is orange and also lemon citrus, somewhat astringent alcohol, bready/caramel malt, bitter. Taste has roots in a typical West Coasty DIPA with sweet vague, nondescript fruit and malt well balanced with strong bitterness without a lot of hop flavor. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, frothy texture, soft carbonation, pleasant alcohol warmth in esophagus and finish as taste. Overall, OK but not terribly strong flavors and doesn't distinguish itself. A bit clear and light for the style. Brewer advised it was Loral, Amarillo and Simcoe.
