Darker, slightly hazy amber color, short white head. Sweet smell with some caramel notes. Taste has some nice notes of cream ale malt and caramelized sugar. Vanilla comes up, too. Very slight touch of cinnamon, bit noticeable. Sweet, but not sugary.

Can pour from Briggs Corner Store, Attleboro. Hazy yellow orange with massive sparkle (looks like Alka Seltzer) and head with spotty soapy lacing, trub at bottom. Aroma is strong florals over hint of citrus and pine. Taste is pine and citrus over bitter cracker. Smooth, frothy, fairly thin texture, average carbonation, dry, bitter finish. Old school is right, and for a traditional or West Coast IPA, not NEIPA.

16 oz. can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you Tom! Aroma has mild perfume. Flavor shows mild toasted grain / toffee with a light floral bitterness. Pretty tame in every regard. Old school feel to it.

Brewery draught, 2/4/23. Clear mahogany/tan. Small, beige head showing moderate retention. Nose is gingerbread, strong cinnamon and more bready malts below it. Low perceived sweetness/maltiness. Clean, no alcohol. Huge spice character in the mouth with cinnamon/nutmeg being overdone and dominating the flavor and texture. Bready, spicy astringency on the finish. Highly attenuated, almost no malt sweetness which it could badly use. Clean, though, with no alcohol noted.

Brewery draught 2/4/23. Clear with a bit of haze. Deep brass-golden. Small, white head to ring. Nose has some light wheat and lactic acidity with emerging fruit sugar on the finish. Simplistic but clean. In the mouth, it's got the background of a well-done Berliner, but there's a cheap, artificial tasting raspberry character. With the Monin fruit syrup bottles behind the bar, I think it's pretty obvious how this got it's raspberry flavor. I guess they added it to the keg? Because they don't offer you the opportunity to not have the raspberry syrup in it, which is a shame because it's pretty gross, even if it's technically traditional to use syrups.
