Description
We are independently owned and brew by hand in small batches at our microbrewery in central Stockport. For us, flavour and quality always come first.
As brewers, we respect brewing tradition though our beer is contemporary in style.
As drinkers, we want to enjoy every beer that we make – so for us, brewing isn’t just about the end product, it’s about the process. So it’s worth doing right.

Cask @ Café Beermoth, Manchester. Very dark amber with a creamy-smooth head. Wooden cask version and this is best evident in its earthy taste and aftertaste. Maple elements are light but again best evident as a sharp sweetness. Somewhat boozy.

Tap at 73 Enid Street. A clear copper brown coloured pour with a lasting beige head. Aroma is semi sweet nutty twiggy malts z raisin, malt loaf, raisin loaf, white grape, grape, maple crunch. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, light tang, dried fruits, nutty twiggy, toasted malts, old ale vibes. Palate is semi sweet, light tang. Moderate carbonation. Some bruised banana.

Keg at Cloudwater. Near clear amber brown beer, small pale tan head. Airy palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Airy malts, a light creamy sweetness more than offset by a little bitterish toffee. A brief flash of bitterish dried fruits. Esters and then maple that is, mercifully, not too sweet. Interesting.

Cask-conditioned at the Kings Head, Bristol 3/10/2024. Copper in colour, with a slight, off-white, head. Caramel, earthy malts, some red berry sweetness, leading to a lingering, bitter, finish with a suggestion of autumn bonfire smokiness. Enjoyable.
