Lowlander Beer is inspired by the journey of the Lowlanders to faraway lands, we brew with botanicals to create unique beers full of flavour. We brew for people who want delicious beers that are anything but the ‘usual’. Al bijna aan de tht datum... Iets troebele goudgele body en een zepige kraag waar al snel niks meer van over is. Geur van wort, zacht fruit, wat meer fruitigheid retronasaal. Smaak is bitterig, wortzoetig en iets fruitig. Lichte body. Iets bittere afdronk.

Small yellowish head over deep yellow-golden beer. Malts, pale & lightly toasted, a "beery", earthy, grassy nose with toast and corn. Bitterish, lime/lemonpeel, light toast and herbal/hayish malts. Again a tad earthy, hopp. Quite well-carbonated, wheatslick, bit chewy. The nose proved a bit predictably ho-hum, but the flavour is a lot more acceptable, and even a bit original. Txs to Merel!

750 ml bottle, as Lowlander Mango I.P.A., from Dutchshopper. ABV is 3.5%. Moderately hazy pale yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Fairly nice aroma of mango, also fruity hops. Remarkably dry flavour, notes of mango, a sharp bitterness in the aftertaste.

300 ml bottle, as Lowlander Blond, from Dutchshopper. ABV is 3.5%. Clear golden colour, moderate white head. Very refreshing beer, aroma and flavour of spicy Belgian ale yeast, medium dry. Just a hint of elderflower and maple syrup. Decent hops. Would buy again.

330ml bottle from Noz. Pours a misty pale golden yellow, small white head. Refreshing enough, balanced moderate ginger character, perhaps a hint of lemon too.

Bottle from Albert Heijn. Bit hazy dull golden with fluffy head. Grassy hops, orange zest, wort, bread crust, a touch of mango. Medium sweet and bitter. Over loght bodied. Quite OK, but I don't get much mango.
