Draught. Golden colour, cloudy, decent head. Aroma is dough, wheat. Light bitterness, slightly sour which gives the beer more freshness. Thick texture, but it’s pleasant to drink. A good example of unfiltered lager. BTW I don’t think there is any rye in it - German text from the menu mentions only barley and it looks much more correct than the English translation there.

16.11.2012, tap @ the Brewhouse / Restaurant:
Nice creamy mediumlasting head, very hazy. Aroma is slightly fruity, light malts, grain, hops, caramel, hay and grass. Taste is slightly dry, still a little sweet, light malts, hops, grain, hay, yeast, grass and caramel. Medium bitterness. Love this one, very quenching! In fact it takes me back to having an ultra-fresh, unfiltered and unpasteurized pilsner in Prague. I’m not really a big fan of lager beers, and especially not industry beers. I had absolutely NO expectations to this beer what so ever, so it totally blew my mind.
(This rating was based on our first visit. The second time the beer was extremely muddy, and almost flat. But the aroma and taste was almost as good. Based on my experience, and the other three ratings before me, it seems like they need better quality control. At it’s best, this beer is world class when it comes to style. But it’s still very good when it’s not at it’s best.)
