Pours golden with a thin white head. Aroma of grassy notes, heavy yeast. Taste has typical pilsener notes, heavy cereals etc. Palate has much of the same. Good.

4 oz. pour on tap as part of a flight at the brewery. Opaque orange juice with ring of head and light lacing. Aroma is strong orange, citrus, grapefruit. Taste is strong orange, citrus. Frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. A sweet juice bomb, to be sure, but nice.

4oz. pour as part of a flight at the brewery. Hazy golden yellow with light sparkle, ring of head and nice lacing. Aroma is strong lemon/pineapple—see flavor. Taste is strong lemon/pineapple sweetness (of an industrial variety—reminiscent of urinal puck). Smooth, frothy, creamy texture, soft carbonation & finish as taste. Strong flavor but it’s just too sweet and has a cloying/industrial quality. If this were toned down a bit, could be quite good.

Taster pour from a can at CT Brew Fest 2024. Opaque black w/ring of head. Aroma is strong sweet roasted malts, maple, lactose maybe. Definitely smell like a doughnut. Taste is a maple doughnut, lactose. Smooth, thick texture, average carbonation, finish as taste. Delivered on the premise. Maybe lactose was just vanilla.

Can pour from the brewery. Cloudy dark orange with tons of sparkle, nice head with excellent retention and nice splotchy lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, grapefruit and mild pine. Taste is strong tangerine, citrus over milder grapefruit and pine with slight bitterness and bread background. Smooth, average carbonation, finish as taste. Kind of an old school NEIPA (is the style old enough now to have an old school?).
Citrus, lemon, light pith, soft, clean, balanced. Really nice.

Can thanks to tfontana, undated, drunk 11/19/23. Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. Small, white head, moderate-to-low retention. Big juicy nose with cracker malts, estery yeast and no resin. Good bit of citrus zestiness to balance the heavy juice. Clean. Soft, malty, well-attenuated. Some funky, almost earthy blood orange-like citrus with ample bitterness and tons of flavor. Clean and very drinkable. I like the additional edge of bitterness/acidity that the Talus brings. Promising brewery, it seems.

16 oz can in a trade with Tom. Nice brew. Much thanks! Flavor has bright, bold citrus. Grapefruit, lemon peel and soft pine bitterness. Very balanced with a mild Citrus juice hint. Well done.
