Novare draught, 12/12/24. Clear for the most part. Amber-maize. Small, dense, beige head. Juicy cherry though some weird sugary notes. Very low acid... Heavy lactic character with light acetic and fleshy, fully attenuated cherry and malt. Very thin, very light body, vegetal. Not very good clarity of cherry. Caramel and weird oxidation. Heavy pepper...not sure what's going on with this stuff...

750 ml shared by ClarkVV! Aroma of sharp acid and oak. The flavor is funky berries throughout with a lot of sharp oak and acidic characteristics. Wow. That is massively sharp!

Bottle pour shared by ClarkVV--thanks, Clark! It's a cloudy, dark purple with frothy pink head. Aroma is strong tart fruit with mild blueberry. Taste is tart fruit, tons of oak, hint of blueberry. Mouthfeel is smooth, soft carbonation. Overall, seems to be well made but too tart for me; not enough sweet blueberry and very oaky. If that's your bag, you'll love it.

750mL bottle, season 20/21, drunk 9/16/23. Blueberry, clear, large, blueberry-colored head maintains a half inch due to massive carbonation. Blueberry and oak with some light cultured character. Lactic acidity, light brett, but mostly just oak and fruit. Yeah, it doesn't smell lambicy or very wild. Just a light lactic sour with excellent blueberry and plentiful oak and vanilla. In the mouth it's highly carbonated with rich blueberry character. Love the fruit; it's soft, bright and rich with authentic flavors. Otherwise, it's very, very oaky with light lactic and brett notes, but no real spontaneous notes. Not farmy/funky unfortunately. Just rather fruity, oaky and lightly malty with vanilla and wheat.

750mL bottle, season 20/21, 3-year blend, drunk 8/27/23. Rich hay-copper-maize. White head quickly to ring. Oh yeah that's beautiful lambic character in the nose. Soft, mellow Brett, mellow lactic, mega-farmy. Rustic grains, chewy wheat. Heavy mineral. Yeah that's bright and yogurty with bountiful citrus and cheese rind. Soft and juicy, mineral, spice, orange and black tea. Super mellow Brett and lacto. Reminds of the best qualities of Boon. Malty, sweeter lambic like Boon. But reasonable attenuation. Parmasan rind mixing with honeydew melon rind lingers with light honey. Very similar to early batches of Oxbow's Native/Wild.
