12oz can drunk 8/12/23. Bright currant juice, hint of haze. Juicy, fruity, acidic, but balanced nose with good deal of residual apple sugar. Clean. Soft, sweet, juicy, succulent, good balancing currant acidity. Rich, well-developed sweetness pleases instead of cloys. Authentic flavors and obvious generous use of fruit.

From a 12 oz can. Pours a crystal clear pale gold with a scant head. Aromas are of deadfall apples. Flavors are of sour crabapples. Bone dry.

Can schlepped by my wife, down from RI. NB goblet @home. Clear, yellow gold, but a little on the sulfur-y side. Pretty active. Metallic, sugary dried fruit, heavy preserved nose, like cheap Prosecco. Taste is stuffy, odd, honey wax upfront, drying out into a more rational sizzle of white grape & cherry skins. The heavy preservatives upfront are pretty thick, but they pass. Very sharp, hard acid, nicely tannic, peppery & with lingering leafy bitterness. Very sloppy edges, but okay to good once you get into it.

12oz can from my wife's recent excursion to this little state. Stemmless wine glass @home Pour is a dark honey brown, like unsweetened tea, but not really clear. Quick flash of head & it's all still. Smell is fresh sweet cider, brown sugar, pecan, some unsung bittersweet skin. Doesn't initially smell fermented. Taste is tart upfront, very rich & lemon honeyed. Second wind of red grape skin, back layer of browning/cooked apples, caramel, added citric acid, some oxidation, partially cryo-ed. Very warming, syrupy with minor carbonation. Too sweet? Yup. Dessert.
