Tapped draught, 2/13/24. Lightly hazy bronze. Small, white head sits at cover. Sweet malt, resin, sweaty hop and a decent helping of Diacetyl. Sweet, fruity, English, with caramel, bread, sweat, pine, light citrus and big butter. Beer tastes old yet according the website hasn't been on long. Possibly a line infection, I guess. It's scary how little Diacetyl bothers me anymore. I borderline enjoy it.

Pour is a clear tan with a large white head. Aroma is caramel and bready malts. Flavor is more of a dry biscuity and bready malt. Not sweet at all like some other American versions of a marzen. Finish is again dry on the palate with bready notes left on the tongue.

Can pour from Total Wine and More, Brentwood. It's an opaque black (brown at the sides and bottom of glass) with finger-width tan head with poor retention and light lacing. Aroma is moderately strong sweet roasted malt, molasses and chocolate. Taste is strong roasted, earthy malt with hint of toffee. Mouthfeel is light side of light-to-medium bodied with thin, smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, alcohol is hidden, and finish as taste. Overall, was expecting something stronger and sweeter for the style. Not bad but not a standout in a difficult category. It's better if you think of it as an Irish stout or pub stout.

Pour is a black with a large foamy tan head. Aroma is a minor roasted malt but a big chocolate. Flavor is pretty much the same a very minor ashy char with some chocolate syrup and finishes very dry with no alcohol felt. This was a fine Impy stout a bit on the sweeter side.

Pour is a straw gold with a small fizzy head. Aroma is a neutral grain and some lemon. Flavor is again a generic grain and a bit of lemon on the back end. Also once the head died down this looks flat and lifeless. Needed a better effort here.
