Pours a brown-black from a growler, khaki-colored head. Great roasted malt aroma, all the classics: coffee, bittersweet chocolate, vanilla, coconut. Similar flavor, even though some sweetness it finishes slightly dry. Very good beer.

Pours a slightly hazy brown from a growler. Roasted malts over vanilla beans and cloves, maybe some allspice and coriander. Flavor has a faint cinnamon note and burn. Pretty good beer.

Pours a nice mahogany from a bottle. Rich caramel, oak and vanilla notes in the nose, similar flavor, very sweet. Good beer.

Pours a nice glowing russet from a growler. Big vanilla aroma, lots of oak and bourbon notes. Almost overwhelmed by the bourbon, not picking up on much else in the mouth. Pretty good beer still though.
