The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, fresh, juicy mango passionfruit, light pineapple, mineral, light floral, light hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Tap at the bermondsey dutch bar. A light hazed chestnut brown coloured pour with a a halo of semi sweet, bruised apple brown sugars, boozy fruit, cinnamon, oak, some jammy fruit. Palate is medium sweet, brown sugars, sticky, mellow carbonation. . Flavour is composed medium sweet, jammy fruits, wood raisin, cakey malts, brown sugars, snappy. Lingering boozy fruit cake.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Kulenborgse Bierhandel. Dark brown with an off-white head. Massive bourbon aroma with dark caramel, dried fruits and vanilla. Sweet taste with a boozy bourbon finish. Too sweet for my taste but the bourbon is wonderfull.

Keg at If It Ain't Dutch, Bermondsey, 12/04/24. Mahogany brown with a beige head. Nose is dark fruit rinds, dates, figs, toffee, dark malts, booze. Taste comprises fruit cake mix, spice, dates, figs, toffee, molasses, raisins. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced spiked of alcohol. Decent quad.

On tap. Pours a deep reddish brown with light head. Aromas of candi sugar, rich caramel, raisins, and doughy malts. Sweet rich flavors same with pretty big sweet malts for a quad, but very tasty.

*LCI Rating over gezet van Ratebeer* Blik thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een troebel oranje bruinig bier met een volle witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een aroma van pruimen, appeltaart en tonka. De smaak is vol zoet, rozijnen, pruimen en vanille.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale golden colour, fair frothy white head, diminishing unevenly, light lacing. Aroma pale malt, lemon, grapefruit, grain, wort. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, grain, lemon, grapefruit, wort. Light body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, semi-dry sweetbitter aftertaste, well-made but lacks some bite, acceptable.
