Can from brewery. Opaque dark brown with light sparkle, thin head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is moderately strong roasted and sweet malt. Taste is strong roasted malt/coffee, faint sweetness. Smooth, creamy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with bitter roasted finish. Lactose most evident in texture. Not a standout but enjoyable.

Can from the brewery. Turbid vegetable smoothie light brown with lots of white yeast chunks, tons of sparkle, thin, creamy head with good retention, nice rings of lacing. Aroma is strong candied tropical fruit and citrus. Taste follows aroma, more on the citrusy side, along with yeast and malt. Smooth, creamy texture, average carbonation and dry, yeasty finish with light bitterness. Looks gross, feels heavenly and aroma and taste are good. All over the map but overall ends up good.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you. Aroma is cocoa base malts showing light earthy hints and mild toast. Flavor follows with a balance of toasted malt and mild cocoa. Shows a soft mineral content. Medium plus body. A very nice example of the style. Very enjoyable for me.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Thank you for yet another “new to me”brewery!! Deep brown in color with fast dissipating head. Aroma is mild roast with a good amount of maple. Flavor shows earthy grain, maple, soft roast. Light astringent finish. It is decent.

Can from the brewery. Cloudy, slightly murky, dark brown, nice sparkle, thin head fading to ring, no lacing. Aroma is strong, sweet roasted malt, toasted bread crust, nuts, caramel and light cocoa. Taste is strong roasted malt--a bit to the burnt side--nut, caramel and light cocoa. Smooth texture, medium bodied, average carbonation, malty, roasted bitter finish. Good complexity and strength but a bit to the burnt side.

Brewery draught, 10/13/24. Mostly clear, peachy-amber-golden. Small, white head. Fruity, with a bit of a hybrid character to it, not really tropical or citrusy, but lots of pine and some wood and yellow fruit. Hints of bread and caramel but not overdone there. Almost a cherry note lingering. Soft, malty, with lots of bread, minor toast and pretty good malt depth and attenuation. Solidly bitter, not too much so, with light grapefruit, light pine, light wood and reasonable dryness on the finish.

Brewery draught, 10/13/24. Heavily hazy, blonde-golden-maize. Small, white head. Citrus and mango juice, big yeast esters and honey-like malt. Drier in the mouth with some earth and chalk. Good maltiness, not quite supple, with lots of cracker, but definitely competent and above average. Yeasty, but not too much so. No booze or resin, good amount of bitterness.

Brewery draught, 10/13/24. Clear bronze-brass. Small, white head, slowly to edges. What the hell is a clean farmhouse ale??! Smells and tastes like Amarillo hops and a crappy wheat beer. Confounding. Toast and sugar lingering.
