Can pour from trade with AirForceHops--thanks, Chris! Opaque, cola brown with nice sparkle, ephemeral head and no lacing. Aroma is strong sweet and earthy malts, molasses, additional earthy/savory quality and spice. Taste is strong molasses, rye, earth, lightly roasted malt. Smooth, thick texture, average carbonation and finish as taste. Carbonation calmed over last 4 months. Good strength and balance. Different.

Undated can from Airforcehops, thanks Chris! Drunk 8/11/24. Clear, dark. Healthy, tan head fades steadily to ring. Round, malty, chocolatey nose with a hint of spicy rye and nuttiness. Clean. Oh baby, that's a malty beer! And, importantly, it's malty and not sugary/sweet. Hazelnut, vanilla, fudge and tons of licorice-laced molasses. Almost tastes like a bit of spicy ginger in there. Definitely an almost soy-like umami, in a good way, helping balance all the malt. Low roast. Rich, big body, good attenuation. No booze. Maybe becomes a bit of a chore to drink over the course of 16 ounces, but I think that's the case with almost all 10%, non-BA imperial stouts. Thankfully with the extra cellar time, the carbonation has died down. Very impressive! Would seek these guys out to try more when I'm up in Maine.

16 oz can I purchased in East Boothbay Harbor Maine. Aroma is chocolate and earthy malt. Flavor follows with bakers, chocolate, and some roast. Mouth feel is really fizzy from a higher carbonation content. The flavor works. However, the carbonation throws off the mouthfeel a bit.
