Associated Venue: Bunch of Grapes (Otley)
Established in 2005
Closed in 2018
Description
An offshoot of the small local pub company of the same name. A small number of trial brews were done at Moor Brewery. The former 10BBL plant from Moor was acquired and full production started in August 2005.
The business was sold by founder Nick Otley in 2016, to a company called All Beer Co, although Companies House reveals no record of such a firm. Eventually brewing ceased in early 2018. Mr Otley retained the company’s pubs which continue to operate.

(Cask at Lyric, Soho, London, 24 April 2016) Amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of peaches, apricots, nuts and slightly earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, citrus and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bitter. Quite nice.

Pours a clear, ruby red, with pretty much no head. Aroma is malty with hints of raisiny fruit. More fruit in the taste, underpinned by caramel malt. Quite good.

Bottle. Amber beer with a strong head. The aroma is bitter, yeasty and toffee, and the flavour is bitter with malt, yeasty and roastedness and a toffee caramel feel. Overall a reasonable strong bitter. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
