Description
An offshoot of the small local pub company of the same name. A small number of trial brews were done at Moor Brewery. The former 10BBL plant from Moor was acquired and full production started in August 2005.
The business was sold by founder Nick Otley in 2016, to a company called All Beer Co, although Companies House reveals no record of such a firm. Eventually brewing ceased in early 2018. Mr Otley retained the company’s pubs which continue to operate.

Bottle. Appearance - amber with a thin but not unattractive head. Nose - honey, malt. Taste - toffee, honey, dried oranges. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a finish that could be fresher to be honest. Overall - didn’t get the blueberry. More of an Old Ale. So so!

BOTTLE 50 CL. Opaque black, beige head with good lacing. Nice aroma: hoppy - mint and lemon rind, malt sweetness that blends nicely with the hops and just a hint of roast. The taste is balanced between hops, light malts and chocolaty roast, fresh hoppy bitter finish. Easy drinking, though the body is lacking at times. Still, a very good beer.

Bottle. Golden beer with a strongish white head. The aroma is fruity with some yeastiness, and the flavour is quite dry and well hopped with malty and yeastiness. Overall more like an IPA than a wheat beer, but good overall. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

50cl bottle from Marks & Spencer, Camberley. A glossy pitch coloured pour with a loose tan head; creamy chocolate aroma; sharply bitter taste with a dry lactic body; leading to cofee grounds and burnt sugar and a long dry coffee finish. A pleasant drink, but to me this more a "stout with attitude" than a Black IPA,
