Tap at Vogt House. Looks nice. Roasty, rich chocolate malt tones..Smooth,.rich, deep. Excellent example.of.rhe style. A little undercarbed, but works for the style.

Taster from tap, #7 at Beer Under Glass. Though here they're calling it a Märzen, I'll suppose it's the same beer. It pours amber, nice row of foam around the edge. Solid malty nose. Just a slight side of German hops. This is been poured cold, and it really helps bring the flavor out. Plenty of malt in the taste, again with just a slight side of German Hops

Enjoyed on tap at Ballpark Brewfest in Schaumburg, IL. I didn’t take tasting notes for this one, but remember this being a decent RIS with more of a dry finish, not too sweet, if there’s chicory in it than that makes sense.

A lightly hazed amber ipa with a thick frothy lacing light mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with floral hops, grassy and smooth. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with loads of pink grapefruit, floral hops, resinous and piney, pleasant if a bit raspy. On tap at Voodoo Lounge.

12oz bottle. Deep brown-black body. Respectable deep rusty beige head. Big, luscious chocolate tones. Thick, viscous mouthfeel. Notes of cocoa, coffee, molasses, deep roast. Almost has some dry brown malts notes in there. Pretty solid offering.
